“Main”-ly Art Window Display Project sponsored by the Campaign is an effort to engage business owners and the community in the redevelopment of Main Street. Using art to combat the negative impact of vacant storefronts and encourage people to come to Main Street are both important components of the project. Business owners along Main Street have donated their windows (and, in some cases, interior space) to help promote the goals of the Campaign but to also entice potential renters. The displays are similar to adding a fresh coat of paint.  These buildings that seem to have faded into the background, now pop with color and vibrancy.

The Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair Community Mural hung at 715 W. Main Street for several months and a local artist is designing a custom mural for 600 W. Main which should be completed soon. The CWWB has designed two of its own displays with the help of students at neighborhood schools educating the community about walkability, neighborhood pride and redevelopment.  One is currently hanging at 711 W. Main Street.
